The goal of the Visayas Blogging Summit (VBS) is to gather ideas and explore the potential impact of blogging on society, business and politics. Calling all Negros Bloggers! If you have time and resources, I suggest you attend this event. This will help us more in our quest for better blogging!
The launching of the free Wifi connection at the SM City Bacolod last July 31, 2009 – Friday, was a success! There were a lot of people attended the said event including the Negros Bloggers, people from ABI e-Tech, some senior citizens, media men, and other interested parties.
Eventhough the program started late due to the Wifi setup, still it went ok. Mommy Ruby was able to give a short talk on blogging — how to start a blog and all, stuffs like that. There is also a computer and wifi tutorial for the senior citizens. Well, what made me feel most excited is the raffle draw. LOL. I was really hoping to win the brand new Nokia phone. Unfortunately, I just won a Sony Ericsson mobile — pink pouch instead. Hehe. Mommy May, who’s a fellow Negros Blogger, won the grand prize.
Anyway, here are some of the pictures taken at the said event:
