I had a fabulous time last February 2, 2010! Ms. Lorena of SM City Bacolod gave the Negros Bloggers 10 complementary tickets to the live performance of Ballet Philippines. So, together with my co-members Glady of Experience Negros, May of Nshima Servings, and I, Pinay Mommy Online, went to SM City Bacolod Cinema 1 to watch.

As expected, the show is so magical! It was my first time to watch ballet dancers perform live in front of my eyes! It was truly amazing. Since I don’t have any nice digital camera around, I settled in taking pictures using my new cell phone. So pardon me for these lousy pictures since it was dark and fuzz.

Thank you SM City Bacolod for the opportunity of a lifetime to see the live performance of Ballet Philippines and the VIP seats too!

To continue its environmental awareness campaign, SM City Bacolod will hold a Green Film Festival which will feature free showing of selected award-winning documentaries by BBC and Discovery on February 10, 2010 from 8AM – 4PM at SM Cinema 3.

SM urges schools to attend the free screening as a way of educating the youth on pressing issues such as climate change. Schools may coordinate with the public relations department of the mall admin office and attend all screenings or select a slot from the schedule: 8AM – State of the Planet, 10AM – The 11^th Hour, 12NN – Warnings of the Wild, and 4PM – Planet Earth.

The SM Environment Committee specifically aims to promote environmental sustainability through mall, tenant and community endeavors while simultaneously combining going green with good business.
